Parents Guide to Small World

• We have a cubby for each child to keep all their belongings. For example, bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers, diapers, wipes, special snacks, and any other comfort items your child might need throughout their vacation in Small World. Please check diapers and clothing daily and replace if needed.
• Small World will have water table play and paint play. Please make sure they have a change of clothes and proper attire!
• We have a refrigerator for your child’s bottle or sippy cup. If your child has any special food requirements, please bring anything they might need.
• Please fill out the information sheet provided so we are able to know more about your child. You may want to include any allergies they have, soothing ideas, and their daily schedule.
• Please label all items that your child brings to Small World with their full name.
• Each child will have their own crib or mattress for their entire stay at the Family Vacation Center. You are more than welcome to put any items on their bed or crib to help comfort your child during their naptime. Please ask a staff member to help you find your child’s bed or crib.
• On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we will be taking the children to lunch. On Monday and Wednesday, we will be taking the children to dinner. We will provide meals if they are in Small World at this time. We will provide a form to let our staff know about any food preferences you or your child will have.
• Please leave your cell phone number with us in case we need to contact you for any reason. We also ask that you leave your location for the day.
• Feel free to stop and say hi to your child at any time during the day. You are more than welcome to pick up your child at any point during the scheduled hours.
